TS Black is harder than the other TS products in the PRO system. This extra hardness makes the wax more robust and absorbs less dirt. The black additive reduces friction in polluted snow, which is particularly noticeable when the wax is used alone.
The wax delivers excellent test results on artificial snow and snow transformed into old natural snow. For optimal use, the speed of the waxing iron should be approximately 8-10 seconds for a skating or alpine ski. The wax can be reheated after cooling to room temperature (10 minutes) for better durability. It is crucial to use a good waxing iron to melt the wax efficiently.
TS Black can serve as a racing wax alone but is also frequently used as a base wax for other racing products.
