This season, the new Shine 78 is the ideal option for female all-mountain skiers who prioritize fun on the slopes without compromising on comfort. Fast, agile, and eager to turn, it performs best in mixed to compact conditions on moderate slopes, showcasing maximum versatility.
The newly installed Multilayer Woodcore, part of the redesign, ensures lower weight and additional pop. Switching from the foam core of the previous model to a full wood core enhances the ski's sportiness, provides more stability at higher speeds, and is also a significant step towards greater sustainability. Thanks to the 3D Radius Sidecut, the Peregrine 78 now impresses with outstanding agility, bringing a smile to the faces of those who love short, crisp turns.
With the proven Lowride Integrated Binding System, the Peregrine 78 now also offers a wide, lightweight, and lower binding that further improves agility in tight turns and reduces effort when stepping in, thanks to the TCX heel unit. Identical in construction to its larger siblings Peregrine 80 and 82, the system was used for the first time on a ski under 80 mm. The direct integration into the wood core also ensures improved power transmission from the binding to the ski.
Ski Profile

Tip & Tail Rocker
Character: Bends up only in the shovel and tail zones, with a camber shape in the middle
3D Multilayer Woodcore
3d multilayer woodcore
By combining different wood species and different wood constructions, an ideal balance of weight, strength, durability and damping is achieved. Stronger, heavier wood is positioned where power transmission, edge grip and torsional stability are required; lighter, softer wood is applied in less stressed zones to reduce weight and enhance smoothness.
Steel Band
A steel band in the ski provides very good durability, controlled flex and smooth skiing in faster speeds.
3D Radius Sidecut
3d radius sidecut
Three radii in one ski for maximum turning and speed.
Long Tip & Tail Radius:
‣Usage of long radii at tip and tail for big turns and high speed
‣Easy steering and maneuverability
‣Disruption resistant at the tip
‣No radius limitation and ease of turn exit
Tight Center Radius:
‣Usage of shorter radius in the center for short turns and lower speed
‣Extremely easy to initiate short turns
‣Strikingly agile
‣Effortless and smooth in short turns
Full Sidewall ABS
full sidewall abs
ABS is a durable and resilient plastic known for its strength and impact resistance. It offers high resistance to shocks and impacts, making the ski more robust and long-lasting. These sidewalls allow for precise power transfer from the skier to the edges of the ski.
3D.GLASS
glass carbon 3d glass
Compared to classic glass constructions the three-dimensional and multiple-folded glass layers in the tip and in the tail area result in an increased edge grip and a more vivid rebound behavior in turns.
3D.Glass Integrated in the Ski Tip and Tail:
‣Flat glass under the binding making the center softer. Variable turning at any speed.
Glass Above Sidewall:
‣Providing additional support for superior edge grip on icy slopes.
Vertical Glass in Tip & Tail:
‣More pop for faster edge to edge changes.
