Use And Care Instructions

General Use

The Käydä is designed and manufactured to function as a carry-on backpack. Although we cannot guarantee that every airline will for every airplane permit it to be carried-on, we have gone to great lengths to meet as many airline carry-on requirements as possible.

Helmet Sling

How to Use: Remove the sling from its zippered pocket located on the front of the bag and attach it to the two surface mounted buckles on the top of the bag. Slide the helmet into the sling with the front of the helmet pointing downwards. Adjust the helmet sling straps to secure the helmet against the bag. Do not use the Helmet Sling with airline baggage check carriage.

Airline Baggage Check Precautions:

• If it becomes necessary to airline baggage check the Travel Backpack, do not leave the Travel Kit attached, do not use the Helmet Sling and detach the Waist Belt and store it within the Travel Backpack.
• Do not leave straps hanging from the bag when placing it with airline baggage check.
• Do not use helmet slings with airline baggage check carriage.
• If the bag includes Stow-Away Straps, ensure the straps are fully tucked-away.

Precautions

Cleaning: Kulkea bags may be cleaned by hand as needed with warm soapy water and followed by air drying in a warm, dry environment. Do not use alcohol or other cleaning solutions. Do not machine wash or dry.

Storage: Kulkea bags should be stored in a warm, dry environment free of mold and mildew.
